It’s a micro dermabrasion beauty tool, to exfoliate dead skin cells and stimulates the production of new cells, to improve skin tone and texture, also blurs shallow acne scars and age spots.
Microdermabrasion does help the skin so I was really interested in this tool because it is something that you could do at home and you don’t have to constantly book a spa appointment.
A standard micro dermabrasion appointment is probably anywhere from 120 dollars to 170 for one session. It’s essentially around the same price as silk n revit prestige microdermabrasion device. And obviously use it as many times as you want.
It comes with 4 different tips for the actual device:
- The regular diamond tip: is the standard treatment tip for all skin types. Removing dead skin cells and stimulating the celery growth and blood circulation. Suitable for the face too.
- The fine diamond tip: which is essentially the same thing but smaller for delicate and hard-to-reach areas of the face, such as around the eyes, the nose, and mouth.
- The body diamond tip: which is the wider version of that, and it is the same thing. Except for your body (if your skin is a bit more than and sensitive if you have bumps on your arms, and your chest, or your back or anywhere that you kind of want to exfoliate on a deeper level.)
- The last one is a massage tip: it looks like the regular diamond tip, except it’s a smooth surface, for massaging the skin and stimulating the blood circulation. (suitable for all skin types. Its gentle one, where the other one’s kind of are more aggressive and exfoliate your skin.)
Silk n revit prestige microdermabrasion device comes with a charging dock and little cleaning tool. (i usually just use soap and water with a brush it away)
The filters go on the top of the device underneath the tips. You should replace regularly for optimal results, and always make sure that the filter is in place to prevent particles such as dead skin or debris from entering the motor.
Ps: before using it, you have to completely clean your face, just follow the instruction in manual, it’s actually pretty easy to read.
After turning on, I chose the auto mode. I actually like better because it walks you through everything. It beeps every time you’re supposed to change an area on your face.
Ps: if you have thinner skin or more sensitive skin definitely start off with the massage tool, I would say and on the lower level. And just see how your skin reacts to it.
I’ve only used this a handful of times so it’s kind of hard to tell if it’s actually doing anything! But I do find it a really good tool for exfoliation. It definitely sucks up dead skin cells,
The only thing I wish if it tells you which side of your face to go in the sections. Sometimes it’s kind of hard to figure out how much of one side you’re doing versus the other.
I’ve used this about 10 times. And I have found the last two times that I’ve used it, I do smell kind of like a burning rubber smell. I just don’t know if I’m doing something wrong.
I haven’t used it for an extended period of time or longer than it should I usually just use it for the allotted time that it says it hasn’t broken down yet but that is a concern of mine just because of the higher price point
So yeah that’s my silk n revit prestige microdermabrasion review, I hope you guys enjoyed, don’t forget to share. Thank you.
